Yankee Candle . . .Lip Balm!?!

A week or so ago I uploaded an image onto Instagram and Twitter that seemed to have grabbed a lot of people's attention; Yankee Candle Lip Balm. Although my blogging has been somewhat sporadic over the past few months, I have been reading a lot of blogs, and it was 'Lucy Writes' blog where I originally spotted this 'lil' gem. Thus, since the active substance Tadalafil is responsible for the action of the branded Cialis, it is also the basis of generic Cialis. https://www.tadalafilfromindia.net/ Generic Cialis is an effective remedy helping men to get rid of the problem of insufficient erection. Generic Cialis shouldn’t be taken by everyone regardless of their state of health.

When I first saw this I was like ''OMGGGG'', couldn't quite believe my eyes, and of course I just had to purchase one. However I have to admit I was a lil dubious after ordering as to whether the lip balm would smell as good as the actual candle, but I kept faith that it would smell fabulous. The ebay seller selling these lip balms currently stocks four flavours; 'Vanilla Lime', 'Sweet Strawberry', 'Christmas Cookie' and 'Vanilla Cupcake'. I opted for Vanilla Lime as I previously smelt it in Clintons (card shop), and fell in love with it instantly. My order took a fabulous two days to arrive (speedy delivery), and I couldn't wait to open and start using it.

How does it smell? I kid you not, the lip balm smells exactly like the actual candle; a mixture of citrus, with a lingering sweet vanilla scent, absolutely gorgeous. Not only does it smell great, but it is very moisturising, contains 4g of product and has SPF 15.

As you can see the packaging is adorable; similar to that of the actual candle jars, but has a slight twist added to it. The bottom part of the jar has a 'twisting' mechanism enabling the lip balm to go up and down. The lid is similar to that of actual jar, which is very secure and tight, with the signature 'yankee candle' stamp on the top. Now you're probably wondering how much does this lip balm costs, well here is the short, brief run down.

The seller on ebay currently sells these lip balms at £3.99 each which to be honest may sound a little steep, but I've literally been using mine everyday for almost two weeks, and I still have loads of product left. When ordering from this seller, it is also free delivery, which is even more encouraging and tempting!

I have to say I am more than pleased with this lip balm, although my only slight grumble is the limited selection of flavours. But I am happy to sit and wait should more flavours appear on ebay or even in stores in the UK. . . .

Cas + The Contraceptive Pill Aftermath = Let Battle Commence . . (part II)

Some of you may or may not remember back in February I blogged about my experience on the contraceptive pill (read here), which has left me with a complication that I am still battling today. Many of you found the blog post incredibly interesting, and were interested to find out more following a review with the consultant. I have since had that review, and I thought I would update you all on what is happening.

Up until the point of my appointment with the consultant in February, my periods were still absent. Having discussed what was causing it (which I personally don't want to go into too much detail), the consultant provided me with medication for which I was instructed to take once a week. These tablets he told me would help kick start everything and hopefully get my body working again in the manner that it should be. Now I am a tad dubious when it comes to medication, but I thought I am up for trying anything, I just wanted to feel 'normal' again. I begun taking the medication straight away, and I felt no immediate side effects. And now it was just a matter of playing the waiting game . . . .

Days passed, weeks passed and then I felt that odd tummy ache feeling, I thought to myself ''...this is no ordinary tummy ache'', and blow and behold - my cycle had returned. I kid you not I have never been so happy in my whole entire life; 18+months had at last come to an end. I have since then had several more regular cycles, which is extremely promising. Of course feeling very pleased, I was certain that having spent 3months on medication I would most definitely be coming off it when I saw the consultant in May, however that was not to be the case.

The consultant was pleased to hear my progress; blood results were looking good and I generally am starting to feel 'normal' within myself. But although things are on the up, the consultant dropped the 'clanger' - I have continue taking the medication for a WHOLE YEAR!!!! Say whhaaaaa? Yes, my thoughts exactly. If I am honest, I am absolutely gutted as I genuinely thought I would be on it for the 3 months and then taken off it once my cycle had returned. I still have to have blood tests so the consultant can keep an eye, and although it's good news the cycle is back, just quite gutted that I'm stuck on medication for a year, which leads to another dilemma; contraception.

Now I mentioned to the consultant about the whole contraception thing and etc, and he said I can now go back onto the pill!! But that in my opinion is surely a contradiction; taking medication to keep the cycle going yet the pill is what caused the whole problem in the first place?! I understand there are other forms of contraception, but right now it is something that I am quite confused about, and don't really know what to do for the best. It's not too much of an issue right now (if you get my drift), but it is something that I think about from time to time; what to do for the best?

I have decided, although very personal, I will blog about my progress on this situation throughout the year. I just find it a great way for me to share with you what I am going through as a result of the pill, and it gives me the opportunity to write about it, as I have bottled it up all this time. Hope none of you mind? Hope it has been of interest to those who were interested in knowing more.

Where am I?

Hello All

 . . . . . **rolls tumbleweed** . . . . .

O M G wow it's been an incredibly long time since I last blogged, and I want to sincerely apologise for my lack of blogging. I have been incredibly busy the past few months with work, job hunting, just life in general and as a result my blogging has suffered.

Although my blogging has been quiet, I have been using a fair few products which have been amazing, and I do promise to blog all of those very very soon. There will be some changes to my blog which may take a while to launch but will be with you all very soon. I have also hit the 500+ target which I am extremely grateful for and I want to thank each and every one of you for taking the time to visit, comment on my blog. As a way of saying thank you, I will also be launching a giveaway over the next few weeks, so keep your eyes peeled.

Hope you're well keeping very well and enjoying the beginning of summer (even if the British weather is saying something a lil different right now lol).
