(Rhodes to Heaven, 2011)

A few weeks ago I blogged to you all about Rhodes to Heaven and their Christmas gifts (if you missed that post, then check it out here). But sometime ago, I was sent one of the rhodes to heaven products to sample; All in One Foaming Body Polish. I will admit first impressions, especially when I saw the colour left me a little unsure, but very intrigued and eager to try.  I have been using this product on and off for the past month or so, and I now feel compelled to write a review for you all today.

The All in One Foaming Body Polish has specifically been designed to not just exfoliate the body, but also incorporate other tasks which products claim to do. Such tasks being:

  • Cleanse
  • Soften and smooth
  • Exfoliate
  • Invigorate
  • Revitalise
  • Brighten
  • Refines skin texture
When I first had an overall look at the body polish, first impressions were the packaging is good; easy to dispense squeezable tube, with clear visibility to see how much product is left. But when I saw the colour of the scrub, I was a bit unsure, although it does have a very nice, thick consistency.

Applying liberally to wet skin (I found the shower to be the best), I was able to smother it all over my body. Using a bit of pressure, I massaged the product in circular motions, concentrating on my back, shoulders and arms. With the ground argan seeds and almond sugar and coconut, I could feel the product working on my skin, really living up to its claim of being an 'all in one'. It's not a rough exfoliant, which some can be too much for the skin, but it's quite light which is ideal for those with soft, delicate skin. The smell is absolutely divine; almond and coconut, leaving a very clean and fresh smell on the skin. It's not overpowering, heavily scented or caused any irritation, and my skin hasn't been dried out which some products can do.
My skin afterwards felt very smooth, soft, brighter and glowing, everything the product description boasts, which I was very pleased to see. However with every good product comes a price, and this one comes in at rrp £25.00 for 125ml. Now although it's a little on the expensive side, I have only been using it now and again, and as you can see from the first picture, I still have a fair amount of product left.

Overall Thoughts

Rhodes to Heaven pride themselves and their products as being eco friendly, multi tasking and all in one. Ingredients used to formulate the products are all natural, and are paraben, petrolatum, sodium laureth sodium free. And the products are luxurious and kind to all skin types. The All in One Body Polish is definitely a product that wholeheartedly lives up to what it claims to do. I for one enjoy using this product, and although I would say it's on the pricey side, if used sparingly and only when you feel your skin needs it, it will last a long while.

Ooh this sounds good! It sounds really good just before applying your moisutizer then fake tan! If it can help make the process quicker then yay! Going to have a look online for it now, thanks for sharing! :)
