New! FashionistA Customised Palette

When I first started blogging I saw the odd few blog posts on palettes that you could customise. Of course, I thought ''Oooo this is rather nice'', but thought nothing more of it. More and more blog posts on these customized palettes were cropping up and it was then I decided to take note of the brand doing these palettes, which is FashionistA.

I don't know a great deal about FashionistA (local Superdrug does not stock FashionistA products), but from what I have seen they have proven to be a big hit with many in the blogging community; purely for it's budget friendly products, and the idea of being able to customise a palette, which this blog post will be about today.

FashionistA are well known for their ability in being able to allow the consumer to customise a quad palette, with shades/colours to suit their individual skin tone. With this in mind, FashionistA have launched several new Mono Blushers and Bronzers, naming each one after fashion capitals across the globe, which are as follows:

Matte Bronzers: LA, Paris, Tokyo
Merged Bronzers: Barcelona, Dubai, Rome
Merged Blushers: New York, London, Milan

FashionistA have also launched 6 merged mono eyeshadows which have been given 'fashionism' names, such as:

Couture, Custom Fitted, Exclusive Collection, Fashion House, Stylish and Trend Setter

The palette I have customised features LA, Rome, Milan and Trend Setter which honestly I would never have chosen, but I love the colours, especially the eyeshadow Trend Setter, which is amazing.

I admit I am no 'whizz kid' when it comes to understanding the 'mechanics' and etc of eyeshadows, blushers and bronzers, but I have to say I am impressed with these, especially the merged blusher 'Milan' and merged bronzer 'Rome'. The colours are just absolutely beautiful, and when applied to the skin the colours have great pigmentation, although the bronzer LA isn't very pigmented on my skintone and somewhat looks a little lost. I found with all 4 of them to be incredibly silky smooth and soft. The merged eyeshadow offers something a little different in that is has a glittering finish that can be mixed and blended with other shades in the custom palette. And it can also be used wet to create a creamy eyeshadow or an intense eyeliner for a multitude of looks.

The FashionistA Mono Blushers, Merged Eyeshadows and Matte Bronzers* are £4.00 each, and the Custom Palette* (red or black) is £5.00 - all available from selected Superdrug stores. If you are interested in purchasing FashionistA products online, then click here.

So . . what do you think? Is this something you'll be investing in, or are you not so sure?
