Keromask Camoflague Cream

I was never one for wearing liquid foundation; I always thought it was far too much of a faff, and quite frankly I just had no idea how to apply it. I attended an event last year (which you can read about here) where Keromask were launching the new Camouflage cream.

Keromask is one of the few camouflage make-up brands trusted, used and recommended by the highly trained dermatology practitioners at the British Association for Skin Camouflage and British Red Cross Skin Camouflage Clinics. It is also recognised by the British Medical Association and remains as one of the few brands listed by the National Health Service as an effective solution for the one in four people in the UK who live with a skin condition. Keromask is an unrivaled cosmetics range designed for all skin types and suitable for disguising all skin imperfections.

I assumed this product was some form of liquid foundation, and that was that, but in a matter of fact, this product is very universal. Yes, the product works in the same way as normal liquid foundation, but the coverage is just incredible. Acne/blemish marks, tattoos, dark circles, rosacea, vitiligo are some just of the skin imperfections that can be covered with this product. My first thought when I saw this was ''Nah, noway'', but after watching the demo at the event and seeing coverage building I was very impressed.

I did take some pictures of my face but I somehow manage to delete them. So I have taken a picture of a scar (got burnt with steam) on my arm, showing before and after pictures:

. . . What do you think? I think it's really good and covers the mark really well (and that was only with a small amount). The scar is a little bit visible, but with a bit more product the mark would be completely covered. The beauty with Keromask products is if you don't find a cream that suits your skin tone you can mix and match with other creams in the collection, and still get the same coverage which I think is amazing. Although I like the coverage this product gives I did find however that as a person with oily skin, after an hour or so in pubs/clubs my face felt 100 times greasier and I couldn't wait to get home and take it off! Maybe there is something I should be using prior to using this product? But I felt very oily, however I still had great coverage at the end of the night. Not only can this product cover skin imperfections, but you can also go into water with it . . yes you read that correctly, you can, for example go swimming with keromask covering an imperfection on your body. I personally have not tried this, but I can imagine it would be interesting to see if the product really can provide coverage whilst submerged under water.

Overall my experience with the keromask camouflage cream has been ok; I love the coverage the product gives, I like the idea of being able to mix and match with other creams in the range, and the product packaging is sleek and modern. However the oiliness is something that is somewhat off putting and may possibly deter me from purchasing, unless I can find something that I can apply to my face before application??? . . . .

Keromask Camouflage Cream* is £14.99 each and is available online at www.keromask.com

Definitely agree - the price tag isn't breaking the bank which I find amazing for such a good product.

Sounds like this would be perfect for wedding day photos of hiding scars/tattoos! I have a few scars on my arm I'd like to hide sometimes and I'd definitely consider something like this xx

Yes, it definitely is good for scars and covering tattoos. And you can build up the coverage to as much as you like which is fab :)

  4. Oh wow, this looks amazing! I'm a bit worried about the fact it's waterproof though, I can just imagine that it'd clog my pores & break me out!

So impressed with how it covered your scar though!

Maybe you could finish it with a setting powder to keep the oil at bay?

    Lola xx

LoL It removes very easily - using wipes or micellar water, so don't worry you won't have trouble removing lol And I too am very impressed with the coverage, and that was only with a little bit of product - amazing :).

Ahhh thank you - I will try using a setting powder and see what that does :)
