A few days ago, I was on twitter minding my own business, and a tweet from the brand 'Lipsy' popped up in my timeline, which read:
''Very excited about Beyonce's new Lipsy range, available to pre-order now :)''
This instantly caught my attention, to which I proceeded to following the attached link on the tweet, to see what it's all about. And blow and behold, I was greeted to a collection of dresses, which scream ''Beyonce''.
This new collection, 'House of Dereon' has been launched by Beyonce and her mother Tina Knowles for Autumn/Winter 2011. The collection at the moment is quite small (10 dresses to date), but prices start from £70.00 to £90.00.
The 'House of Dereon' collection is limited in choice at the moment, but I can't help think the prices are a little on the steep side? I am a huge Beyonce fan; love her music, and love some of what she has worn in the past, but through gritted teeth, I'm not too keen on the range. A lot of the items for me personally wouldn't fit, in the sense they would be far too short for someone of 5ft 9'', and I would hate to have an embarrassing moment! (Get my drift ladies!). But this is not to say the items wouldn't look fab on someone who is a little shorter than myself? The collection is not yet readily available in stores, but you can pre-order, with expected delivery 28th November 2011.
Although the collection has just exclusively been launched, the House of Dereon seems to have caught the attention of Lauren Goodger from 'TOWIE' (The Only Way is Essex'). Launching her 'Lauren's Way' products, she was sporting one of Beyonce's dreses at her own product launch on Wednesday. A lot of bloggers attended this event, and were very lucky to meet the young lady herself, and commented how stunning she looked. I have to say, she looks fabulous, and the dress suits her (love her shoes).

Overall Thoughts
The House of Dereon is a range which is etched with sparkling sequins, seductive prints in figure hugging dresses. The dresses are all uniquely created, giving the Beyonce sense of fashion and glamour. However the collection is somewhat a little limited (party dresses), and may not be to everyone's taste. But if you are a fan of this type of clothing, especially for the festive season that is around the corner, then this is probably up your street.

I'm not sure, which is a shame cos I really like Beyonce generally and think she's a great role model. I do think some of the dresses would love lovely on someone, just not me!x
I actually like the dress she's wearing in the picture but I looked at the House of Dereon stuff online the other day and wasn't very impressed either. Have a great week xx
Ooohh - Some of these are pretty cute, but I probably wouldn't wear them to be honest - I'm like that with a lot of Lipsy!! xx
@Celia - Yes, it's a shame, as I think she's a great role model too - just don't think her clothing range will be the taste for everyone.
@Nadia - Yes, the dress she is wearing in the picture suits her, looks fab on her.
@Sarah - I've never owned Lipsy clothing before, but from this collection, I can't see many of the items suiting me.
